Hi! I'm glad you're here! I'm Karlyn Schneider, lovingly referred to as 'Miss Karlyn' by my students. I grew up in the dance community and have always said my greatest passion is performing, until years of teaching led me to discover where my true passion lies - helping others discover their truest potential! After 10 years of dance business ownership, I'm looking to share what I've learned with the dance community!

As an instructor with 15+ years of experience, I strive to push my dancers of all levels by empowering them with three words: YES YOU CAN.

Dance is a journey and we're never done growing. I push my students to move outside themselves and their comfort zones, practice stretching their boundaries, challenge any preconceived notions and explore new avenues of their technique and abilities.

As a choreographer and instructor, it's my goal to build confidence, strong foundations and artistic expressions with my students and clientele.

Through innovative and educational approaches, I focus on empowering dancers to excel and take control of their success in a positive light and explore their fullest potential.

Through inspiring workshops & instruction, creative choreography services, and personalized feedback & adjudication, I aim to nurture talent and passion. Take me a long on your dance journey & explore the joys of movement in a supportive environment!

ABOUT ME

My name is Karlyn Schneider &

My Passion Is Helping Dancers Find Theirs

I'm the owner and executive director of New Attitudes Dance Company in New Holstein, Wisconsin where I love watching my students develop a passion for the performing arts! Dancing from an early age, I have experience in many styles including acrobatics, ballet/pointe, contemporary, drill team & precision, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, musical theatre, and tap.

In 2010, I began teaching various dance styles in Northeast Wisconsin and fell in love with the classroom environment. While enjoying performance opportunities, seeing students develop and grow in their technique in real time inspired me to seek higher education in dance and pivot my focus solely on dance education. In 2012, I began my college and dance career at the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay majoring in both Dance Pedagogy and Arts Management, graduating in 2015.

I am currently a certified adjudicator with the National Dance Coaches Association, a member of Dance Masters of Wisconsin, Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, Wisconsin Association of Cheer & Pom Coaches Inc, and the National Dance Education Organization. When I am not in class at New Attitudes, I enjoy being on the road, sharing my unique outlook & approach to dance education with students of all ages and abilities via competition judging, guest instructing, and choreography projects.

Where Technique Meets Storytelling

Share your story, share your voice! Each dancer has a story to share with their audience, no ,atter their level or experience. By forming relationships and getting to know each client on a personal level, it helps me create piece for them that is truly expressive! By combining precision, technique, artisty and storytelling elements, I'll create a piece for you that allows you to share your voice! Currently accepting tap, ballet, contemporary, lyrical, theatre, and jazz pieces.
